A pair of Czech footballers were forced to make a quick apology recently after saying a female assistant referee who’d failed to notice an offside should stay in the kitchen. The two – who play for the top-tier Czech side Sparta Prague – were also ordered to train with the Sparta women’s team following the remarks, which have been roundly condemned. Rob Cameron reports.
