Fortuna Düsseldorf 3-0 Stuttgart
Stuttgart remain stuck the in the relegation quagmire after an emphatic defeat at the hands of Fortuna Düsseldorf, who picked up their first Bundesliga win in four. Stuttgart were woeful, with the hosts taking the lead through Kenan Karaman and Oliver Fink making it two with a humdinger. Benito Raman above, added a third to lift Düsseldorf into 12th. Stuttgart remain in the bottom three.
Bremen 4-0 Augsburg
A first half blitz put Werder Bremen on course for a big win over struggling Augsburg. Wearing special shirts to celebrate 120 years of the club, Milot Rashica fired them into an early lead and Johannes doubled their lead. Rashica added a third and his second with a special strike, and substitute Kevin Möhwald completed the rout in the second half. Augsburg have only one league win since October.
Dortmund 3-3 Hoffenheim
Hoffenheim players celebrate after completing the most unlikely of comebacks against league leaders Borussia Dortmund. With just 24 minutes left on the clock, Dortmund were enjoying a three-goal cushion but a phenomenal feat of determination saw Julian Nagelsmann's side steal a point at Signal-Iduna. Ishak Belfodil's late goal throws the Bundesliga title race wide open.
Hannover 2-0 Nuremberg
Nicolai Müller saunters away in celebration after opening the scoring against hapless Nuremberg. If ever there was a "relegation six-pointer", this was it. Müller's brace leaves Nuremberg with a mountain to climb while Hannover keep within touching distance of safety.
Freiburg 3-3 Wolfsburg
Captain Nils Petersen roars in delight after scoring his side's second goal against Wolfsburg. A six-goal thriller went right down to the wire as Freiburg battled back on three occasions to earn a hard-fought point at home against one of the Bundesliga's most successful sides on the road this season. It was Petersen's sixth goal of the campaign.
Gladbach 0-3 Hertha Berlin
Ondrej Duda celebrates hitting double figures for this Bundesliga campaign as his side bagged three points on the road against high-flying Gladbach. Duda's been in scintillating form this season, but this strike owed everything to the build-up play of teammate Davie Selke who put it on a plate for the Slovakian midfielder.
Bayern Munich 3-1 Schalke
It was another comfortable showing for Bayern Munich, as they brushed aside a Schalke side that briefly showed signs of life. The result puts Niko Kovac's side just five points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund. Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry got on the scoresheet, with the former's goal just two minutes after Schalke's equalizer proving decisive.
RB Leipzig 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt
Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulasci springs into action to deny Eintracht forward Sebastien Haller. Two of the most attacking sides in the Bundesliga faced off in a Champions League qualification "six-pointer", but in truth, neither of the top six sides looked like European contenders in a dour stalemate played out in the east.
Mainz 1-5 Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen ruthlessly disposed of Mainz to continue their hot streak in the league under Peter Bosz and move up to fifth in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen suffered a shock defeat in the Cup in midweek at Heidenheim, but Julian Brandt was the star in Mainz, scoring twice and assisting twice for the much-improved visitors. Wendell, Karim Bellarabi and Kai Havertz also got on the score sheet.
