Ischinger has been Chairman of the Munich Security Conference since 2008. He is a senior professor at the Hertie School of Governance; and he is former State Secretary and German Ambassador to the US.

Human rights lawyer Gonsalves has spent most of his life defending people who can't defend themselves in his native India, including poor minorities, women, children and laborers. In 2017, he was awarded the Right Livelihood Award.

Gutjahr is a German TV presenter and blogger. He is known for covering the terror attacks in Nice and Munich in mid-2016 with a mobile phone.

Yusuf and Sumaiya Omar co-founded Hashtag Our Stories, an initiative that empowers underserved communities to tell their stories through mobile video. The two host workshops in mobile storytelling around the world.

Ganten is a specialist in pharmacology and molecular medicine, and founded the World Health Summit in 2009. He is Chairman of the Board of the Charité Foundation, and Professor Ganten is also editor-in-chief of the Journal of Molecular Medicine.
