Opera-lovers in Norway are celebrating this weekend after the country's first-ever opera house opened its doors in Oslo. It's been a long wait -- plans for a dedicated building were first mooted back in the 1880s. Ever since, the national opera company has had to make do with performing in other people's theatres. But now they've been rewarded for their patience with a lavish new building - albeit with a democratic twist.
