Iran is set to conduct a partial recount of last week's presidential balloting that saw incumbent President Machmoud Achmidinijad returned for a second, and according to the constitution, last four year term with a 66 per cent majority. The recount comes in response to allegations of fraud by supporters of rival candidate Mirhossein Musavi, after an election in which voter turnout was unexpectedly high.
