In Uganda, at least 16 people have been killed and 350 arrested in two days of operations by security forces. The action is aimed at stopping riots sparked by the arrest of presidential candidate, Bobi Wine. The popstar-turned-lawmaker is seen as is the leading challenger to President Yoweri Museveni in January's election.
