World in Progress: Digitalization helps Africa's farmers

It's estimated that over half of fresh fruits and vegetables produced in Sub-Saharan Africa are lost or wasted. Nearly half of these losses happen during postharvest handling and processing. Experts say digitalization could help curb these losses in a region where according to the UN close to 240 million people are suffering hunger.
