Morsi called for the meeting with the country's top judges to try to defuse the crisis after he issued a decree that all his decisions and laws are immune to legal challenge and barred courts from dissolving the constituent assembly, drafting the country's new constitution. Two people have been killed, and 444 others injured in the violent protests which have erupted against Morsi's decree.
